Blog

92dc22abe89c601bd3ea33c50dff3078.gifBlogging helps me cope with stress and crappy things. But one of my blogs is just being a bitch. I wonder what's going on with the server or whatever you call it. I don't speak ITerms. I am sorry.

I was supposed to update my dream-blog (it's a blog about my dreams). I was actually supposed to update days ago but I just didn't feel like going online and updating stuff. I've been tired since last week. I just had a good nap yesterday because I was shutting down. It was good enough, for my physical body. As for the other aspect of my life, I need money. MONEE. I want to do some girly-stuff. Read: SHOPPING. Oh well, forget it. XD

An hour from now will be our exam in CHD. Hades, I hope I have read enough. And I pray I can remember them all. This week is supposed to be about recovery, but another load of concerns piled up. I haven't even scanned those pics Saging asked me to. Pasaylo. v_v

Btw, I miss my royal son. He no longer calls me okaasan. >_< I can't even remember the last time he called me one. *tampo* I miss my sweet royal son. But of course, he's got some stuff to attend to. ^_~ Pa-burger ka naman!

I think I've already updated in most of my blogs. This means one thing. I am going through some distrubance. Hades, I am not emotionally or mentally disturbed.

I don't know..

I am making an entry just to update and shamelessly plug my other blog- JenShinrai in BlogSpot. =D And of course, to mark this day as the second time I made a Frittata. ^___^

Our Instrumentation Training had also began tonight. And the VBS started this morning. =)

3 Years

014dc0ebe8e052e2c5460599101c080b.jpgTomorrow will mark the 3rd anniversary of this blog. For years, this blog has been so dear to me. It is where I post my inner crypted thoughts and random stuff. This blog has been like a best friend. I tell her many things. I tell her my joy and my pain. I tell her anything.

Read between the lines. I know I have posted here my deep emotions, but I try, as much as possible, to keep them lighter. There is no need to feel the dakness of my soul. I hope no one will take me wrong for that. It sounds so dark and dark. Haha!

PARASUI. This blog has been inspired by its name. I omitted the other letters though. Everyone has secrets. It's fun though. I hope I'd be able to keep this blog as long as I can, and as long as the server allows me to.

I want a Seattle's Best 2008 planner!!

be3de61c50445142c34f7eb9e2686a77.jpg*berserk* Oh my Gackt. I think I'm being obsessed. XD This is bloody.

I started liking Seattle's Best since 10 January 2008. I like every moment of my first Seattle's Best experience. It was really lovely.

I've heard that SBC also offers a 2008 planner; too bad I heard it late. It's true. And it was way better than Starbucks. What I like about Starbucks' were the recycled materials used for the paper and the charity stuff you share with them as you buy their prods so you can collect stickers for the planner. But I'd still go for the SBC planner. =p

Oh well, I already have a planner. It's from Jollibee. It'd be bloody if I try to avail for a Starbucks planner. But when I saw Seattle's Best planner, I so want it! XD

I'll definitely watch out for Seattle's Best 2009 planner. T_T

Unspoken

medium_th_magz199.2.jpg"A picture speaks a thousand words."

Even if those words don't sum to a thousand, they're good enough to remind me of what just happened. And I'd like to say, Oh my Gackt.

I've seen many times, but the counteract is just once yet the effect is strong enough. I'm anxious. -_-

I would like to speak, but I have to admit it. I'm shy enough to do it. <_<

Okay, next topic please.

MOUNTAINS

We were in Glorietta this afternoon, until less than an hour ago. Today's Aimee's birthday so dined out. To cut the long story short, we went to G4. Just tita, Aimee, Karla, and me. There was an exhibit of AMCI (I'm not sure though) mounta climbing moments. I've seen wonderful shots and they were really beautiful. I'd love to travel and see much of what the Lord has created. I'm not thinking of going abroad as a tourist. What I have in mind is to be a local tourist. I'd love to see every mile in this country. =p

One day, that dream and desire will come true. By the grace of God, it will be done. Amen.! ^^

Dinner at Mangan

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We dined out. We would've been complete if Pyra was with us. But she was in Mega and we're dining in G4. It was in Mangan. I think it's a Kapampangan restaurant. I had Chicken BBQ with Java Rice. My soup was monggo, which was supposed to be corn soup but to no avail. My beverage was ripe mango shake.

I enjoyed the food while my mind was wandering from time to time. teehee... =3

16 December 2006

medium_Komachi.2.jpgWe had a make up class in MSN-2. I thought I had to have my report, but Ms. Dean had to finish her CNS lecture. We had a test before the lecture.

I had this day reserved for a "G4 visit" because I wasn't able to come the previous night. Thanks to our exam today. -_- I was supposed to meet Jeff and Jake. To make it up, we're going to meet on this day. But before I went to G4, I had to go to Gateway and meet Dejan. She already bought House, M.D. ^___________^ *excited* It was my first time to Gateway. Jeff was a bit worried I'd get lost. I actually did.. Just a little. Haha!

Dej and me were meeting at Gateway's foodcourt. I had to text Jype its locaton because I was in Ali (or was it Alli) Mall's Food Plaza. We had a little chat. By the way, I got a 12% discount. Presyong kaibigan daw. Thanks!!

*addict mode* House, House! Yipeee!!! *lol* "Vicodin, anyone?"

When Dej and moi parted ways, I sped to Ayala. G4, to be exact. Jeff texted me that he and Rochelle were going to lunch. They were actually in McDo. We're supposed to meet in G4. I still went to G4 and saw some aygees. Mika was also there. It was already 3 in the afternoon and I still haven't eaten lunch. Good thing I didn't get hypoglycemic. I decided to eat lunch in KFC while Mika was on her way to meet Steve. I told Jeff I'd have my lunch in KFC. He and Rochelle decided to join me since there were so many people in McDo.

It's been three years since I saw Rochelle. The same goes with Jeff. It was just that i saw him a couple of weeks earlier. I think I saw him in Cembo last year. I guess so. We had a little chat. I'm talking about Rochelle. I'm not a talkative person. Very rare. I had more chat with Jeff since we both play DM (he's better than me). He's also into J-music.

We went to G2-TZ after we had our very, very late lunch. We played DM. Jeff's treat. Arigatoo! Too bad I got failed right away. Gomen. T_T I am not used to that machine. Really surprised and shocked me.

Jeff had to accompany Rochelle to don't-know-where so I went back to G4. I was bored and-never mind so I decided to head to and relax in Greenbelt Park. Mikka and Steve came after a couple of minutes.

It was already dark when we left the park. I initiated because Jeff was coming back. TZ mode again. Mikka and Steve didn't come with me. They were going to watch The Nativity. I could've joined them if I'm not meeting with Jeff. Besides, I already ran out of budget since I spent it on House, M.D..

There was no more "movie together" because two people have already watched the movie we planned to watch together. Sorry sa ililibre ko sana. =p

While on my way, I saw some fireworks. I'm not fond of it. Never been. But I stopped walking for a sec and watched it. As I did, something flashed into my mind. It was a memory. I like the firework's colour. It was green.

Jeff was not yet in TZ when I came back. But I saw other IG/GC members. Special mention is KR. Haha! I thought I'd swipe my card while waiting for Jeff. Among those IG/GC members, I was the last to play.

I was sitting in that "trivia game" when I saw Jeff behind me. The line in DM was already long so he just played GF. When it was my turn to play DM, I only had 'til 2nd stage. I think KR did bait me so he could play right away. Hmmm... Haha! Kidding.

Since Mikka and Steve were still in Greenbelt and there was no news from the other Mr. Quickie gang, I decided to leave already. Jeff was also going to meet his sister in Landmark. Besides, I already miss our home even when I was still in the park. I only came to G4 to meet and play with Jeff. Too bad Jake, his younger brother, was not there.

I came home earlier than my previous "Sabaday G4 visits" and I'm glad about it. Not just because I miss home; we've got a little serious thing here. Family matters.

I've been out for more than 10 hours yet sleep was still miles away. I decided to watch TV, especially the Pinoy Dream Academy "graduation". I was curious. Congratulations to Yeng!

When I decided to retire, my cough was killing me. My chest hurt so bad. I'm glad I was able to sleep.

Wednesday

I went to SM Makati today to buy a pair of white shoes. I really need one because my old white shoes, bought during last year's Toy Con, was already non-immaculate. I'm really having a hard time cleaning it up. -_-

While making up my mind, I've been texting Jeff. Asked him/talked about... I forgot! Well, it's about the shoes, DM, and GF. Too bad I wasn't able to inform him beforehand that I'm going to G4. He said he could've gave me some company and help me choose the best pair. Magaling daw siya sa pagpili ng sapatos. Sayang naman. Well, he was in MOA. Ang layo. O_O

Jeff offered to help me choose/buy white shoes, but only on Sabaday. It was okay with me, but I know my tita will be looking for my 'new' white shoes since she already gave me the money. So I've decided to buy the shoes today. I also went "shopping" items, just two though, for our Christmas party this Sunday (after the service).

After lots of walk, I got hungry so I decided to eat dinner in Food Choices. I wanted to go home already but I thought I'd checkon TZ. Maybe I'd see/meet some friends. I saw Andrew E. No more details. Heehee...

I was about to leave when I saw Mikka and Steve talking to Elie. I miss Mr. Quickie gang! Too bad Hackt and Francis were not there. =p

CRANIUM

We've finally had the chance to play Mikka's board game. It was fun. I thought it was hard, but it was nice. Got a good time playing Cranium. But it made me go home late. Later.

I hope those two would also be able to play Cranium. Play the game together. Sana pwede rito s'amin.

FRIEDay

We didn't have MCN-2 today. I thought it's going to be a boring day because our next class would be 2 in the afternoon. Not really. I saw Anjiro, a classmate during the previous sem, and had a chat. He was one of my TZ buddies so we went to TZ in Market! Market! to play some games. He actually invited me (I was supposed to go to Greenbelt or G4). I only played one game- DrumMania. I miss 10th Mix. Well, Anjiro played DM and Tekken. He's an addict; certified Tekken addict.

It was nice having a chat with him. We talked about school, RLE, lectures, God, faith, games, (a bit of his) love life, and life... Worth the time. We were in Market! market! even before the mall opened to customers so got enough time to have some chat. It was nice. Too bad Vienna was no longer our schoolmate. She's also my TZ buddy.

We left the mall when it was just a few minutes to 1 in the afternoon. We're supposed to have lunch at the Food Choices, but decided to buy our lunch behind the school. Too bad, they only served pork meals. Couldn't say, "I don't eat pork." because he already had his order. Hades, I've eaten pork today. What I ate was a siomai.

~ ~ ~

I thought we would not have or Psychiatric Nursing today. But Sir Randy showed up. Well, that's a good news. Today's lecture was about communication and such...

Was supposed to go to G4 after Psych class, but I was already tired and sleepy. Besides, I need to save up just in case I can make it to UP AME.

I am sleepy now.

Chocolate Ice Cream at Trauma Center

I just came from QC visiting Kei. Should've been there a week/days ago but the sched was not so cooperating. Monday would've been fine, even perfect, but I had to go to G4 because I'm borrowing a VCD from a friend. Yesterday, I was asleep all afternoon.

It was my second time in Kei's place. The first one was two Saturdays ago, his birthday bash.

To make things easier, I'll write them in bullet-form...

*Played Trauma Center.
*Kei made a chocolate ice cream.
*Had a chat while waiting for the ice cream to get frozen.
*Watched some vids. XD
*Hang out in front of Kei's place
*Ate ice cream. I love it.
*Hang out in front of Kei's place, had some chat...
*Ate dinner.
*Had some chat.
*Left Kei's place and went home.

I miss the Trauma Center and Kei's homemade chocolate ice cream. ^_^

Glamourous Day

I went to G4 yesterday to borrow Hackt's Kagen no Tsuki (Thank you, my friend!). While waiting (well, I came early from Banawe, QC), I decided to play DM V3. First time! Too bad Ebony and Ivory, my drumsticks (a gift from dad), were not with me. It's been quite some time since I played DM (excluding the one I had last Friday) so I was back to mega-level-down crisis. I could no longer finish Monster Tree. Huwaaat? Dang..

But I did not lose hope. I don't actually like to give up. I thought I needed a series of playing to have my arms used to it. I played more than twice... Failed... Cleared... Failed... But I was quite content because I was able to finish Glamorous Sky for the first time of playing. Yipee! It's my favourite song. HYDE has nothing to do with it.

I was sitting between DM V3 and this I-forget-the-trivia-name when I saw Jeff. He was my schoolmate in high school, a friend of some friends. We're not really close. But we talked to each other and we still do (obvious). Well, he treated me for a free GF V3 game. Wow! First time to play the machine, I guess. Haha! Thanks, Jeff! It was nice because I was able to finish the songs albeit the score was not promising. But I saw a glimpse of hope. Mukhang may pag-asa pa ako sa GF. Haha!

I also saw another schoolmate, classmate actually. Also in high school. It was Danilo. He's still wearing eyeglasses. Dang.. his sight was not so good since we were in freshmen. I don't know if he already had that when he was in elementary days. I hope he's doing okay.

I saw no Mr. Quickie gang except for Hackt. I was feeling sleepy and I missed home. Haha! For real. I think I just needed our home's comfort. So... I left earlier. Toink!

Well, at the end of the day I spent more than what I should. And I've spent more dime in playing than having my lunch. I was supposed to save up. Dang... Insufficient funds mode. Y_Y

The Quickie Gang is Back!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

OCTOBER 2006. WEDNESDAY

VCD...

I went to G4 yesterday after having my business in school. I bought a new Bible. I already got one, but what I bought was smaller, something to carry around. I was on my way to PowerBooks when I passed by StroVision. I decided to check on The Godfather. I found some. I was supposed to buy The Godfather VCD collection (P550.00), but what I was supposed to buy was the book. If I'm going to buy the VCD collection, I'd run out of budget for the book. So I decided to buy 3 VCDs: The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and Scarface. I was even having a hard time deciding which to buy: Scarface or Saving Private Ryan.

THE GODFATHER...

PowerBooks-Greenbelt no longer have the regular The Godfather book. What they have was the 'special' version which would cost me dime so I decided to ask one of the staffs. I was "transferred" to another staff and he suggested to check on the other branch. That was clever. I hope ever bookstore staff would think that way.

After making calls, he informed me that there's available in Megamall. I was so happy. I wanted to buy it right then but I had a stopover in TZ-G4 and it was dark already so I thought I'd have it the next day. That's today.

I'll be in Mega later this afternoon... then I'll head to G4.

THE GANG IS BACK

I went back to G4-TZ (I was there before I bought what I had). I saw Rei so I pondered about Mikka coming. She told me she would. It was getting late... Those made me stay instead of going to Mega.

Rei and me waited for Mikka. And Hackt. It was later than expected and I was feeling hypoglycemic. Shagadelic. I just calmed myself reading Timawa. Tito Kenji and tita Saeki were also there. It was nice to see them again. Tito Kenji was back after NO LIFE and tita after businesh in school. I miss the couple.

I've also seen other aygees. It seemed to have a lot of people there. I was told that Allan was there. But I didn't see him. I wonder why he didn't show up in TZ. He must've been busy with his girlfriend. We wanted to see his girlfriend. Haha!

We were still waiting for Mikka and Hackt. Rei suggested to get inside the arcade house so we could sit. Thank goodness. Being in mild hypoglycemia, I diverted my attention reading. I think it didn't take two minutes when Mikka and Hackt came. Finally. I really needed to eat. I don't like staying hypoglycemic. I've experienced it before and it was horrible.

A lot had happened and I could hardly write them all in details. Maybe a tabulation would do. I think that sounds better.
*Rei and Mikka played DM while I was reading Timawa and had a chat with Hackt from time to time.
*Steve came and got introduced to him.
*Mikka had to have her baby (Nokia6600) fixed so we went to Nokia "Medical Centre" but a lot of people were also having their phones fixed.
*We went to other Phone "Medical Center" with Steve leading the way.
*We went to NBS because Hackt wanted to have that plastic case for his artworks.
*I was silent from time to time that he commented about it. They saw the other side of me.
*Hackt sang every time we walked; he even sang close to my ear so I could hear Orenji no Taiyou. I requested that song for my birthday. happy.gif We had a little duet on the chorus part.

I'll stop for the tabulation now. I think I can write in paragraph. =p

We went to KFC for our dinner, though it was already late. We, I rather, ordered 4 A meals. Steve didn't want to eat; said he already ate. =(

The fun part about it was the cashier, her name was Jang (I remember it because Hackt greeted her), having fun. It reminded me when Rei, Mikka and me bought ice cream in McDonald's. Haha!

I'm a bit of a sentimental person so I'll include this in my journal... it's our eating arrangement. I'm F. X means vacant.
R...M...X
S...F...H

When I took my seat, before we ate, they sang "Happy Birthday" to me (though it was a wee ago). I was a bit surprised because there were people near us. But I'm thankful. I appreciate what people do for me. It was fun eating with them. But I was a little less talkative.

When we left, it was time to leave. We passed through SM. Rei suggested to have a group pic. Too bad Hackt's camera was low batt... empty batt. We just used Rei and Mikka's phone. It was really fun because we would stop after a few steps then posed.

We parted ways in MRT station. Steve, the ever silent, bid farewell first. Hackt, again, rode on the MRT while Rei and Mikka were riding on a bus.

I was glad and nervous after that. Glad because I've spent another time and had fun with them... Nervous because it was already 2100H. @_@

Thank You, Lord for those people. Shiawase desu. happy.gif

20 October 2006

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting I went to G4 yesterday for the second time this week. But I went to Market! Market! first. I saw Neko and Jay there. I also saw Bauti and his friend RJ.

As usual, most of the people I saw in TZ were Shane, Rhenan, and Mikka(adik!). I also saw other IG members, both old and new. A lot had happened and it was nice.

The fun part began when Francis, along with Mikka and Rhenan, were doing kulitan. But Rhenan and Shane left earlier and left the three of us (FMS). I think I haven't met a person as kulit as Francis. He and Mikka were so kulit it was contagious! We did a lot of "trips".

Francis had to go to Mr. Quickie and have his shoes fixed. He brought Mikka and me along. On our way back, we saw Sbarro's (pizza) baker doing the dough. He was flipping (if that's the right term) the dough into the air. Mikka and Francis were amazed, or was it just Mikka. Either way, we went closer to watch Mr. Flipper. The two were even suggesting to clap our hands and do some waves. Jen, are you going to do that? I thought. But those two were just contagious. But I haven't lost a touch of myself. Haha!

The trip has just began. We went to McDonald's to buy ice cream. The counter lady was even "infected" with our kakulitan. She was amused with what we were doing. It was nice to see her enjoy as well.

I was thinking, throughout the trip to Mr. Quickie, if I should head home. But it's been a long time since I've been to G4 and 'bond' with aygee peops. I may have not met other members (those I knew before), but I have met new ones. Like what I've said in my IG blog, I'm not closing myself to people. I can' just do that. That would be so mean.

Back to the story....

We went back to TZ (I was about to write "IG") and saw MUTAKA. Mikka went into a "fangirl" and was saying, "Haido! Haido!" Haha! L'Arc and Hyde was part of our meeeennnnniii discussions before we got back to TZ.

It seemed that he was about to leave, but I'm glad he did not. We've added another aygee to the company. We first discussed about Komikon and the Ongaku event (I pray I could come!). We've also talked about other stuffs; I think it was about L'Arc because Francis and Mikka were doing those "poses" they did earlier. Some "dance" grooves... Speaking of poses, MUTAKA did something Hyde-like. It was really amusing. He also did those "stare" Hyde is known for while singing; Francis and him were on duet.

MUTAKA then decided to take a group pic. We looked for a place with enough light then posed. But I wonder if he (or we) succeeded. Haha! Then the discussion was led to dreams. We talked about our dreams and such.

We've also talked about "magic" stuffs. MUTAKA started it. He even made me the "audience" and I was obliged to comply. It reminded me of Sir Jake (I miss the man!). I was like "Okay, I'm going to watch you do the magic." complete with clapping hands. Haha!

I guess the three went tired standing (Mikka had been dancing a lot and Francis had a sprain, I guess. His foot hurt.) Francis suggested to go outside so we could sit. He was suggesting the Smoker's Lounge! Oh my Gackt. But I did go with them, and kept myself away from the smoke.

We talked about random things. It was fun because I had conversation with new friends and it was worth-to-be-talked-about. The reason I am usually "silent" is the lack of topic to be talked about. In school, the non-nursing discussions don't just interest me. Imagine having lots of girl classmates. Kikay, boys, showbiz... *rolls eyes* I'd rather sleep.

It was already nine so we had to leave. We parted ways when were in the MRT station. MUTAKA took the train while Mikka and Francis were up to bus. As for me, I took a jeep leading to Market! Market! Double ride mode on my way home. Then I walked.

What happened last night (while I was on my way home 'til I lost my consciousness to sleep) made me realize that there's still the "heart of children" in us. We were child-like. And I'm saying that in a nice way. Nothing naive.

~~~
I hope everyone was okay. And I hope I'd be able to attend the event today. *sobs* I have more reasons to come. I'd be happy enough if I could just attend the Komikon. They're going to feature Filipino komiks! I have to invest interest on my countrymen's works. Filipino First! ^_~ And of course, the three aygee peops I was with last night are going to be there..
I am sad.
~~~

On the other hand, I also wish to be able to come to Mega again. It's been a long time since I got there I could no longer remember.

2-day G4 trip

I wasn't able to get online for the past two weeks because we got "out" of dial tone. The wifi wasn't enough to open a blog. Well, thanks to Milenyo. -_-

We had 3 days of blackout. But during those days, we went to G4 to watch movies and play in TimeZone. Thanks to my godfather. ^_^

28 September 2006
medium_DOA.jpgWe watched this movie after watching First Day High. I like this movie. It was intersting. My favourite was Christie Allen (Holly Valance). I like her character. I also like Ayane (Natasha Malthe), the assassin.

Dine Out

First and foremost, I want to greet all the graduates of 2006... Congratulations!

Today is Pyra's graduation day. She's my godfather's daughter so that makes us godsisters. I was supposed to attend the ceremony but I had to do some school stuff. If they're going to wait for me, they'll be late.

When there are events like this, we usually dine out. Tita and Pyra came home just to fetch us. Aimee, Perry and tito were not with us because of sleep, school, work, respectively. We dined in Bacolod Chicken Inasal in The Fort.

After having dinner, we went to Select to buy some snack. Take note, we just finished eating dinner. Heehee... but we didn't ate what we bought right away. They headed to look for snacks. I went to check the magazine stand. I saw NewsWeek, took it and showed it to tita. She saw another magazine, Sense & Style. She liked it. I like it too. I showed NewsWeek to her again. Tita asked how much it was and thought it's only P20! I said it's P110.00 so she made me choose between NewsWeek and Sense & Style. I chose NewsWeek. But she bought Sense & Style. Didn't argue but I was like a child who was deprived of chocolate. *lol*

Kuya Ram, the eldest, said that when he gets a job he'll subscribe to NewsWeek. "Ako rin! Reader's Digest pa at Time magazine." I said.

Before we left, we went to StarBucks to order some Frap. Grace and kuya Ram had Chocolate while I had Vanilla. While inside the sedan, I thought my heart was frozen. I was having dyspnea. *lol*

Fleur

Most women like flowers. I don't. I prefer to have the leaves. *lol* Not actually. Flowers are beautiful. They're created by God! =p

The most common flower given to a woman is rose. I've already received one, from two GC members (thanks, guys!). But if I would be asked what flower I'd like to receive, anything would be fine but roses. Hey, I appreciate those two who gave moi a rose. Really. I'm just not fond of it.

My favourite flowers are hyacinth, lily, and freesia, respectively. The first two flowers are actually poisonous causing gastrointestinal upset and dermatitis. Well, those are just two of their poison effects. Worry not, you won't have GI upset or dermatitis if you sniff a hyacinth or lily.

(clockwise) Blue hyacinth, pink hyacinth, another hyacinth, freesia, asian lily

Aren't they beautiful?

Btw, when I was in Shangri-La last Saturday there was an Ikebana exhibit. Was lucky enough to have the digital camera working so I was able to take some pictures.

It has its own space so I thought I'd yake a pic of it.

The container is quite funny.

I like the one in left.
The Ikebana artist, I believe, wanted to emphasize the container.

I like the bamboo.

Nice theme, hm.

I would like to have this on my backyard.

White and Yellow
Like this flowers. They're beautiful.

A series of I-forgot-the name flower. I like the idea of placing these flowers in a trunk.

The container is big, but it's still beautiful. I think it's a lily.

I'm not fond of pink, but I like this one. I believe this flower belongs to the lily family.

Looks like one. =p

One of the visitors of the exhibit was taking lots of captures with this one. It was really eye-catchy.

It's one of my favourite. Simple yet elegant.

I wonder if the Ikebana artist was working upside down.

I also like this one, especially the colour. Plus, I like the 'twig' effect.

I think it's fascinating.

This a simple flower arrangement, but presentable.

Over the Weekend

25 February
This day was cool. Core of Soul was in Manila (Mandaluyong actually) for their 2006 Asian Tour concert. I was there in Shang, together with some Gamer Clan friends. ^_^ Most of the details are in my GC journal, but I also wrote about it in LiveJournal.

26 February
First shooting of Kujuu Muttsu. Too bad I wasn't able to come. Sorry guys. Didn't mean to. :( I've seen the trailer and it was cool. Kujuu Muttsu (teaser trailer #1) - 1MB Windows Media Player video format. Trailer expires on 05 March 2006, Sunday.

27 February
No classes due to what happened here in Fort Bonifacio. Yeah, I live inside the fort.

Lacrimal Glands: Activated and Swelling

I’ve already asked permission to watch Core of Soul’s concert on Saturday at least a week ago, but got no formal response. I asked permission again yesterday. But I wasn’t allowed to go. *sob* I actually had my lacrimal glands activated. I slept with that and when I woke up, I had them swelling. Haha! But just this morning, I asked permission again… through letter. After a couple of hours, I received a SMS from my tita. I finally got permission! Coolness. But I have to leave early.

Thank You, Lord! ^__^

Music: Core of Soul – Tears to Rain
Mood: Excited for the concert

I found this interesting site about The Godfather trilogy. Really interessante. Ok, here we go. Click.

Don Vito Corleone
A man who can't spend time with his family can never be a real man.

It's an old habit. I spent my life trying not to be careless -- women and children can be careless, but not men.

G4 Night

We just came from G4. We had our dinner at SUper Bowl. After having dinner, we (kids =p ) went to TimeZone while the adults stayed in the restaurant. I was with Aimee, accompanying her as she played. The last credit was mine. I played Sogeki. Btw, I saw tito Kenji there. Tita Saeki was not there because she's still in school. If I have enough time, I'll be back tomorrow.

I remember, I was playing in the escalators. I used the descending escalator as I went to TZ and the ascending one as I went back down to Super Bowl. It was fun albeit tiring. =p

Baywalk

We watched plays today at UE. After doing so, Mark, Ben, Kathy and me decided to have a leisure trip in baywalk. It was fun though quite tiring. I don't think I'm tired. I may just be bored. When we left, I was wondering if I should drop by at G4. But then it's going to be late. Besides, I've got no business there.

I guess I should retire now. In the past few days, it seems like I'm at loss of emotions. I dunno. I'm not sure. It's just like things are getting uncertain. Doubts are sprouting making me wonder and ponder. Haha!

I think I need a little confrontation or a revoir thing. I want to clarify things. I need to. Something also happened a few days back. It was heart-warming but as days past, I've been wondering how should I act on it. I am a skeptic person. Can't help it. But then, I guess the root of it is my toot. I don't like it, but I know it's not only me who has such thing. Maybe that's the reason why I, as much as I can, would give whatever I could.

This is getting long. I want to retire now, tonight and in what I usually do.

Give me back my solitude
Keep it not away from me.
I long to have it now and here
And be one with it for some time.

Writing

I would like to write a story. Something simple but contains the ideas I like. I've been dreaming about it but I haven't made one, completely. I have written a fan fiction but it has plenty of bloody wrong tenses. I should've taken my English class seriously. Oh, so bloody of me.

How I wish I have a real time for myself so I can begin writing or continue the stories I have in mind. I guess I should learn to put my thoughts into words. Help me Lord. Amen.

History

History Lesson

Have a history teacher explain this----- if they can.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln 's secretary was named ! Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a
warehouse.

Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a
theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the kicker...

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

Creepy huh? Send this to as many people as you can, cause: Hey, this is
one history lesson people don't mind reading

Online Job, whatever

I want to have a part time job. Actually, I'm going to have soon but it's not my line of business. I'm not even quite interested in it, if it wasn't for the money I'm gonna get. Hopefully. >_<

I think I'm still influenced by Robert Ludlum's novels especially The Matarese series. Silly me, how could I have a job like that. I'm not really good at something. I mean, I'm no expert of a certain thing. But I think I could give it a try if given the chance. But of course, I have no plan of verraad. I'm not going to do something that setzt mein Land am Schaden.

This reminds me of Akabane. He's the infamous hakobiya (koufusha) in the Anime series Get Backers. That's something I'd rather do. But of course, je ne tue pas.

Sarap Mabasa Ng Ulan!!!

Yesterday-last night was supposed to be our CON Variety Show. The venue was Makati Park and Garden Amphitheatre (MPGA). I chose to stay at the top seat so I won't be with 'noisy' people. I can manage being with my classmates and former ones but I prefer to be alone-different.

For two years now, I still haven't found someone as weird as me in school. I can't say someone like She-ba because She-ba will always be She-ba and no one can take her place. This makes me miss her and Renee. T_T

While I was 'alone' in the top seat of the amphitheatre, my mind started to wander. I even had the thought that MPGA would be a perfect place for cosplay events. Just don't let the rain pour!

That's what happened yesterday.

As I had this cosplay thought, I decided to tell RiCah about it and ask her about the next event as well. I was in my one-of-my-favourite positions. I miss sitting that way. Anyway, as I was texting her again the rain began to pour. I didn't use my umbrella yet kasi ambon lang naman. Gusto ko kasing nababasa ng ambon eh. But I was already preparing my payong.

D'on ako nag-stay sa may makitid na hagdan (serves as entrance). Nakatayo lang ako r'on. Nakangiti pa. Paanong hindi ako mapapangiti eh one-of-a-kind experience 'yun. ^_^

Marriage

1. Marriage is not a word. It is a sentence (a life sentence!).

2. Marriage is very much like a violin; after the sweet music is over, the strings are attached.

3. Marriage is love. Love is blind. Therefore marriage is an institution for the blind.

4. Marriage is an institution in which a man loses his Bachelor's Degree and the woman gets her Masters.

5. Marriage is a thing which puts a ring on a woman's finger and two under the man's eyes.

6. Marriage certificate is just another word for a work permit.

7. Marriage is not just a having a wife but also worries inherited forever.

8. Marriage requires a man to prepare 4 types of "RINGS":

The Engagement Ring
The Wedding Ring
The Suffe-Ring
The Endu-Ring

9. Married life is full of excitement and frustration. In the first year of marriage, the man speaks and the woman listens. In the second year, the woman speaks and the man listens. In the third year, they BOTH speak and the NEIGHBOURS listen.

10. It is true that love is blind but marriage is definitely an eye-opener.

11. Getting married is very much like going to the restaurant with friends. You order what you want, and when you see what the other fellow has, you wish you had ordered that.

12. It's true that all men are born free and equal - but some of them get MARRIED!

13. There was this man who muttered a few words in the church and found himself married. A year later he muttered something in his sleep and found himself divorced.

14. A happy marriage is a matter of giving and taking; the husband gives and the wife takes.

15. SON: How much does it cost to get married, Dad?

FATHER: I don't know son, I'm still paying for it.

SON: Is it true? Dad, I heard that in ancient China, a man doesn't know his wife until he marries.

FATHER: That happens everywhere, son, EVERYWHERE!

16. There was a man who said, "I never knew what happiness was until I got married.... and then it was too late!"

17. Love is one long sweet dream, and marriage is the alarm clock.

18. They say that when a man holds a woman's hand before marriage, it is love; after marriage it is self-defence.

19. When a newly married man looks happy, we know why. But when a ten-year married man looks happy, we wonder why.

20. There was this lover who said that he would go through hell for her. They got married, and now he is going through HELL. SO ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO GO THROUGH IT?

It rained earlier. I wish it's still raining. I think it'd be nice to have the rain fall down the earth while you're inside your room, by the window staring outside. Yureka!

I found a place where I could buy a basil! I've been looking for it, as well as for rosemary. Too bad, when I have the chance to buy basil, I don't know what to do with it. I didn't buy it, yet, because I don't want to just keep it the fridge -unused. I'm still thinking of what I'm planning to do with basil.

I'll probably come back tomorrow or on Saturday. I'm not sure but I'll find a way to make use of basil. By the way, the store also sells some herbs. I asked for rosemary but it's out of stock. Oh, this herbs stand/store is located in Market! Market! I came to pass by the place after my classes today.

Other Obsession

Though I'm into DW5 that doesn't mean my world only revolve on it. I'm still into other things. Books to be precise. I've finished reading RL's The Matarese Circle and now, I'm reading almost half of his The Matarese Countdown. Nice one!

I'm meeting Beowulf Agate again. Of course, Antonia is with him too. New characters are involved but I seem to find them "inferior" to Buenos Aires and Somalia. Well, I don't think there would be anyone who could surpass the two, given the time they lived and worked. Though time and setting have changed, something remained. Some things do. And the bad news is, The Matarese remained. But this just made things interessante.

Eary this afternoon, my godbrother and I went to Market! Market! We're supposed to buy Naruto CDs episodes 137 onwards. Too bad it'll arrive at 16:00. And it's only episode 137 and 138. Anyway, while we were there I saw two Robert Ludlum books: The Road To Ohama and The Aquitaine Progression. Both are in hard bound and cost phP150. OMG! I wish I have phP300 way abck then.

Witch Hunter Robin - Incendere

I just found a site where WHR is the main topic, if you call it that way. Still then there are other things you could find quiet interesting. I think I'll link that site. I've also submitted a fan fiction, the same I passed to AnimeSpiral.com, on it's FanFic site.

There's this page where you could just let time slip. Ask Amon and keep asking him if you could stand him. I think I now understand Robin. Gosh, this girl is so nice! I wish I could be like her. =p

I thought of writing here what that site features but I realized that I better let it be explored.

Incendere. I was wondering what this word means and I found out, courtesy of Incendere, that it is a Latin word meaning "to burn". Interessante.
