October Finale

I like this day. The weather was Forks-like; reminds me of 14 October 2008. And oh! There was a sunbreak. Cool. That was when I was leaving for school. And when I came back there was a little drizzle, but no need to take out an umbrella. I really liked it. I like cold temperature, but not those that are troublesome. I'm just glad about the cold weather because I wore my long sleeve shirt paired with my "24seven" shirt.

Walking with such weather was very encouraging. I went to Market! Market! before 12nn. I was supposed to buy a new pen and notebook but I found none of my liking. If only I didn't feel tired, I might've taken a walk in Serendra and Bonifacio High Street.

18-29 October 2008
WH.jpgIt took me 11 days to finish Wuthering Heights. I'm fine with that. It was a novel that needed not to be devoured in one sitting. I liked how it was with me every day. It was like my bedtime story.

The story's not common and it was worth reading. It was like knowing another plot, another dish, a new cuisine. The lead characters were certainly annoying, especially Heathcliff.

I was having a hard time, sometimes, collecting my thoughts because Wuthering Heights was written in a narrative way and I sometimes wonder who was talking or narrating.

Linton Heathcliff was bloody annoying. I could stand his father but if it's him, hardly. The way he "manipulated" people through his health condition was pathetic. I admire how Cathy was able to stand that. Love indeed is amazing. I think Hareton was better, except having Joseph around and how he adapted the old man's ways. I hate Joseph.

Heroes season 2
Hs2.jpgThere were plenty of boring scenes in this season. That's a personal opinion. Most of them were those including the twins. I also don't like how some of the cinematography went. It's more of the graphic stuff. A lot of the backgrounds were never convincing: the drive from the US/Mexico border, Bennet and the Haitian in Ukraine, and Peter's time-travel to the future. Those were all I could remember.

There may be a lot of flaw in this season but it was nice to see Kristen Bell again. Her role as Elle is definitely different from her Veronica Mars character. It was fun though. I'd like to see more of her in the coming episodes (of season 3).

TiresDay

I miss having a light expression on my face and my random smiles. But I am not having those lately. I have so much on my mind bothering me. And I have a future that makes me quite anxious. It's been a pretty roller coaster lately.

coin purse.jpgLast night, I finished reading Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights. I'm not going to make any comments about it, yet. But as of today, I've been craving for a new book to read. But of course, I know very well what I've been wanting to have. I'll just have to find out if I will have to shell out some money, for important reasons, in the next three days. If not, I might buy Breaking Dawn on Monday after our review class. The thought makes me excited!

To read the Breaking Dawn has always been my goal the second after I finished reading Eclipse. But I only rely in my cousin to lend me her books. Too bad the last book of the saga was still in her teacher's possession. when I finished Eclipse. As of now, that status hasn't changed so I will have to buy my own copy. Of course, it's a top personal priority but there are things I have to consider so reading the book is yet to happen.

I have to sleep now. I feel tired after another bookstore hopping..

Twenteen-One

I went out today for some stuff. *sigh* But it's Saturday so there's no office. I ended up buying a reviewer or guide for licensure exam. Also, I was able to find the pen I've always been using. But I haven't done so lately because it's not available in most bookstores. It feels good to have that pen again.

wuthering heights.jpgAnyways, I also got a great find. I was able to buy Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. Yipee! This is one of the classic works I've always wanted to have, and read. I'm glad I didn't buy Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, which I found before Wuthering Heights. I was able to buy the book for phP50.00 Awesome.

There are other books that I want to have and read. I've been craving for Breaking Dawn and I hope I'd be able to buy the book soon. *prays*

It's nice to be back. I've been away since Thursday and just got back yesterday.
Thursday: OsMak-UMak-Olongapo-Subic-Pampanga
Friday: Pampanga-Olongapo-Makati-Manila
Saturday: Makati-Manila-Makati

That was so tiresome.

I've been planning to have this day spent in Greenbelt, specially in Seattle's Best Coffee, but I wasn't able to do so because I've been tired from the previous days activities. Also, it was bloody hot that I was feeling sick. Literally. I hated it. I just decided to get home after being in Manila.

Then I remembered another important thing I was supposed to do today. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do so because I wasn't in Greenbelt. It was so annoying. I hope I'd be able to make it up tomorrow.
