October Finale

I like this day. The weather was Forks-like; reminds me of 14 October 2008. And oh! There was a sunbreak. Cool. That was when I was leaving for school. And when I came back there was a little drizzle, but no need to take out an umbrella. I really liked it. I like cold temperature, but not those that are troublesome. I'm just glad about the cold weather because I wore my long sleeve shirt paired with my "24seven" shirt.

Walking with such weather was very encouraging. I went to Market! Market! before 12nn. I was supposed to buy a new pen and notebook but I found none of my liking. If only I didn't feel tired, I might've taken a walk in Serendra and Bonifacio High Street.

WH.jpgIt took me 11 days to finish Wuthering Heights. I'm fine with that. It was a novel that needed not to be devoured in one sitting. I liked how it was with me every day. It was like my bedtime story.

The story's not common and it was worth reading. It was like knowing another plot, another dish, a new cuisine. The lead characters were certainly annoying, especially Heathcliff.

I was having a hard time, sometimes, collecting my thoughts because Wuthering Heights was written in a narrative way and I sometimes wonder who was talking or narrating.

Linton Heathcliff was bloody annoying. I could stand his father but if it's him, hardly. The way he "manipulated" people through his health condition was pathetic. I admire how Cathy was able to stand that. Love indeed is amazing. I think Hareton was better, except having Joseph around and how he adapted the old man's ways. I hate Joseph.

Heroes season 2
Hs2.jpgThere were plenty of boring scenes in this season. That's a personal opinion. Most of them were those including the twins. I also don't like how some of the cinematography went. It's more of the graphic stuff. A lot of the backgrounds were never convincing: the drive from the US/Mexico border, Bennet and the Haitian in Ukraine, and Peter's time-travel to the future. Those were all I could remember.

There may be a lot of flaw in this season but it was nice to see Kristen Bell again. Her role as Elle is definitely different from her Veronica Mars character. It was fun though. I'd like to see more of her in the coming episodes (of season 3).

TiresDay

I miss having a light expression on my face and my random smiles. But I am not having those lately. I have so much on my mind bothering me. And I have a future that makes me quite anxious. It's been a pretty roller coaster lately.

coin purse.jpgLast night, I finished reading Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights. I'm not going to make any comments about it, yet. But as of today, I've been craving for a new book to read. But of course, I know very well what I've been wanting to have. I'll just have to find out if I will have to shell out some money, for important reasons, in the next three days. If not, I might buy Breaking Dawn on Monday after our review class. The thought makes me excited!

To read the Breaking Dawn has always been my goal the second after I finished reading Eclipse. But I only rely in my cousin to lend me her books. Too bad the last book of the saga was still in her teacher's possession. when I finished Eclipse. As of now, that status hasn't changed so I will have to buy my own copy. Of course, it's a top personal priority but there are things I have to consider so reading the book is yet to happen.

I have to sleep now. I feel tired after another bookstore hopping..

Websites to visit

I am quite choosy with the topics I post in this blog. I love this blog. It's been with me thtough my ups and downs. Parasui holds memories of my past and present, and a hope of the future. It may not hold everything about me but I still value this blog more than the others I have. I don't like posting just anything here, though I've done that before and I am very well tempted to take them out forever. Of course, I decided otherwise and chose to choose my next entries.

Moleskine.jpgWhat I am about to post here are the links of some websites and blogs I plan to visit some time from now because I can't accomodate them all at this very moment or day. I chose this blog of mine, as well as the one in BlogSpot (but it's exclusive for the Moleskine contest), because of the easy accessibility of tags.

Collection

Heroes
I was able to finish the episodes I missed in season 1. Thank goodness! As of now, I've already watched 10 episodes of Heroes season 2. I can now catch up with my cousins. But of course, I still have other things to do so I have to manage time properly.

Pictures
I uploaded pictures I took since Friday in my Photobucket and Multiply accounts. I also have them burned on CD. Back ups will always be important. I need to fix my folder in our PC.

NLE Review: Nursing Research
I ditched class yester noon. Know why..

Wuthering Heights
Albeit having a hard time understanding the pace and how Emily Brontë wrote, I like the story. It's not one of your typical love stories. It's tragic, I'd say. I haven't finished reading it but I'm looking forward to it.

Breaking Dawn
BD.jpgI'm still saving up for this book. Too bad I've spent half of my savings to SBC last Sunday, and for treating my classmates last Friday. I'm fine with the latter though. Can't cry over spilled milk.

Weather
It rained yester day. We were in the AVR and I-we- could hear the wind and rain hitting the windows. I liked it. As of now, I can hear thunders from time to time. I hope it rains today. Or maybe just another Forks-like experience just like what happened on 14 October 2008. I loved it and I'd love to have another one today.

Heroes season 1

Heroes.jpg

It was past midnight or one this morning when Perry and me finished watching the first season of Heroes. Awesome! I was supposed to watched it last year, along with Supernatural, but I got busy and run out of resources. I'm not so sure what else happened to keep me from watching this. Anyways, I'm glad Grace bought a dvd of Heroes season 1.

Heroes..jpgI love Heroes! I may just have watched the first season but I already like it. I like Peter Petrelli and Nikki/Jessica. They're awesome. I also like Claire, in a way that she's no damsel in distress nor too powerful to be have a Messiah Complex.

Twenteen-One

I went out today for some stuff. *sigh* But it's Saturday so there's no office. I ended up buying a reviewer or guide for licensure exam. Also, I was able to find the pen I've always been using. But I haven't done so lately because it's not available in most bookstores. It feels good to have that pen again.

wuthering heights.jpgAnyways, I also got a great find. I was able to buy Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. Yipee! This is one of the classic works I've always wanted to have, and read. I'm glad I didn't buy Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, which I found before Wuthering Heights. I was able to buy the book for phP50.00 Awesome.

There are other books that I want to have and read. I've been craving for Breaking Dawn and I hope I'd be able to buy the book soon. *prays*

It's nice to be back. I've been away since Thursday and just got back yesterday.
Thursday: OsMak-UMak-Olongapo-Subic-Pampanga
Friday: Pampanga-Olongapo-Makati-Manila
Saturday: Makati-Manila-Makati

That was so tiresome.

I've been planning to have this day spent in Greenbelt, specially in Seattle's Best Coffee, but I wasn't able to do so because I've been tired from the previous days activities. Also, it was bloody hot that I was feeling sick. Literally. I hated it. I just decided to get home after being in Manila.

Then I remembered another important thing I was supposed to do today. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do so because I wasn't in Greenbelt. It was so annoying. I hope I'd be able to make it up tomorrow.

Sun Break

Sun Break.jpg

14 October 2008 . Tuesday
This was my first "Forks, WA" experience. Of course, I haven't been outside Makati, Metro Manila and found myself in Washington. But the weather yesterday was so awesome that it was really close to Forks. I guess. It did not rain albeit the clouds covering the sky, during the day at least. If my memory is still intact, lolness I think it rained last night. XD

th_magz199.jpgYesterday made me anticipate for a sunbreak. Imagine, I was waiting to see a sunbreak! There was one -almost- at late afternoon. The sun was not even that shining. It remained hidden behind the clouds, but it was enough to make its presence known.

Besides the wonderful weather yesterday, there were other things that made me love this day.

Old Rose

The conversation. This kept me smiling. Haha!
Richardson Retractor. The stairways encounter.

15 October 2008 . Wednesday
I was hoping for another "Forks" experience today but I did have it until afternoon. The sun was shining like how it 's supposed to be in a tropical country but it did not irritate me. Again, I was hoping to experience a sun break.

The Ret
Albeit the sunny day I had today something else happened that made me happy. Yes, I did see the sun shining again but I'm talking about something else. When I left the place I've been to this morning, I saw the Ret! I was actually thinking about the Ret, reminiscing the previous day, before I left, and most of the time I spent there. Haha!

th_thecloudydreamrkeys.pngThe Ret experience did not end there. We're both leaving the area and I was deliberating where to go: school or review. class I chose the latter. I think I made the decision before we got into the jeep. Yes. We're both passengers, of the same jeep who sat side by side. Thanks to the almost full jeep, I was able to sit on Ret's left.

I wanted to ask what time it was, but I decided otherwise. The ever timid me. Anyways, I was really on a hurry. Speaking of a hurry, the Ret reminded me that I haven't seen anyone who walked as fast as him. Sure, it was obvious that the Ret was on a hurry but he walked gracefully.

It was amusing. Indeed, it was. There was a time last year when I prayed to God. "If it's good for him and me, let me see the Ret." And God answered my prayer, on that very day! How lovely. ^_^

May God grant me another Ret encounter tomorrow, if it is good for him and me. Amen. =)

Twilight

Twilight.jpg~Stephenie Meyer

I read Twilight for the second time. It took me 11.59 hours before. This time, it only took me 9.07 hours. Reasonable speed. I've become a vampire! LOL.

I started digging the book last Friday night and finished it yester night. But I couldn't believe it. I did not make any blog entry about (reading) Twilight. Why? I must've been excited pursuing New Moon.

Anyways, I love the book. I'm not going to write any technical here. I love the characters. I like how Edward resisted the wine while enjoying the bouquet. I love Bella's sarcasm. And I also love Rosalie's BMW M3 convertible. *drools*

As of now, I am deliberating if should read New Moon again. Losh.

Twilight: last trailer

Twi.jpgThe last trailer of Twilight is finally out. The cars are cool. Haha! But I don't like how they show less of Alice and Jasper. I actually saw neither of them. Hardly.

I do like Edward and Bella, but I'd say they're quite over-rated. When someone says Twilight, all you hear is Edward and Bella. Well of course they are the lead characters of the story.

Still, I go for Alice and Jasper. Go, Team Alice! <3

@~~>----------<~~@

There are a lot of things going on in my head, and I'd say in a way Twilight has something to do with it. I'm not being obsessed. With books, sure. But it's something else. There's something that I want to see, feel and do. There is something I want to experience. I'm not dreaming of being turned into vampire. Definitely not. Vamps remain as part of folklores and urban legends. Even if they are real, I see no reason to dream of becoming one. I already have eternity.

Persistent Headache

This is the third day that I'm having a bloody headache. It's so troublesome. I hate it. My pain scale ranges from 7-9 out of 10. My physical pain tolerance is going down.

Also, I must remind myself that if I accomplish nothing tomorrow it'll be certain that my headache will be persistent. I want it not!
