The Quickie Gang is Back!
OCTOBER 2006. WEDNESDAY
VCD...
I went to G4 yesterday after having my business in school. I bought a new Bible. I already got one, but what I bought was smaller, something to carry around. I was on my way to PowerBooks when I passed by StroVision. I decided to check on The Godfather. I found some. I was supposed to buy The Godfather VCD collection (P550.00), but what I was supposed to buy was the book. If I'm going to buy the VCD collection, I'd run out of budget for the book. So I decided to buy 3 VCDs: The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and Scarface. I was even having a hard time deciding which to buy: Scarface or Saving Private Ryan.
THE GODFATHER...
PowerBooks-Greenbelt no longer have the regular The Godfather book. What they have was the 'special' version which would cost me dime so I decided to ask one of the staffs. I was "transferred" to another staff and he suggested to check on the other branch. That was clever. I hope ever bookstore staff would think that way.
After making calls, he informed me that there's available in Megamall. I was so happy. I wanted to buy it right then but I had a stopover in TZ-G4 and it was dark already so I thought I'd have it the next day. That's today.
I'll be in Mega later this afternoon... then I'll head to G4.
THE GANG IS BACK
I went back to G4-TZ (I was there before I bought what I had). I saw Rei so I pondered about Mikka coming. She told me she would. It was getting late... Those made me stay instead of going to Mega.
Rei and me waited for Mikka. And Hackt. It was later than expected and I was feeling hypoglycemic. Shagadelic. I just calmed myself reading Timawa. Tito Kenji and tita Saeki were also there. It was nice to see them again. Tito Kenji was back after NO LIFE and tita after businesh in school. I miss the couple.
I've also seen other aygees. It seemed to have a lot of people there. I was told that Allan was there. But I didn't see him. I wonder why he didn't show up in TZ. He must've been busy with his girlfriend. We wanted to see his girlfriend. Haha!
We were still waiting for Mikka and Hackt. Rei suggested to get inside the arcade house so we could sit. Thank goodness. Being in mild hypoglycemia, I diverted my attention reading. I think it didn't take two minutes when Mikka and Hackt came. Finally. I really needed to eat. I don't like staying hypoglycemic. I've experienced it before and it was horrible.
A lot had happened and I could hardly write them all in details. Maybe a tabulation would do. I think that sounds better.
*Rei and Mikka played DM while I was reading Timawa and had a chat with Hackt from time to time.
*Steve came and got introduced to him.
*Mikka had to have her baby (Nokia6600) fixed so we went to Nokia "Medical Centre" but a lot of people were also having their phones fixed.
*We went to other Phone "Medical Center" with Steve leading the way.
*We went to NBS because Hackt wanted to have that plastic case for his artworks.
*I was silent from time to time that he commented about it. They saw the other side of me.
*Hackt sang every time we walked; he even sang close to my ear so I could hear Orenji no Taiyou. I requested that song for my birthday.
I'll stop for the tabulation now. I think I can write in paragraph. =p
We went to KFC for our dinner, though it was already late. We, I rather, ordered 4 A meals. Steve didn't want to eat; said he already ate. =(
The fun part about it was the cashier, her name was Jang (I remember it because Hackt greeted her), having fun. It reminded me when Rei, Mikka and me bought ice cream in McDonald's. Haha!
I'm a bit of a sentimental person so I'll include this in my journal... it's our eating arrangement. I'm F. X means vacant.
R...M...X
S...F...H
When I took my seat, before we ate, they sang "Happy Birthday" to me (though it was a wee ago). I was a bit surprised because there were people near us. But I'm thankful. I appreciate what people do for me. It was fun eating with them. But I was a little less talkative.
When we left, it was time to leave. We passed through SM. Rei suggested to have a group pic. Too bad Hackt's camera was low batt... empty batt. We just used Rei and Mikka's phone. It was really fun because we would stop after a few steps then posed.
We parted ways in MRT station. Steve, the ever silent, bid farewell first. Hackt, again, rode on the MRT while Rei and Mikka were riding on a bus.
I was glad and nervous after that. Glad because I've spent another time and had fun with them... Nervous because it was already 2100H. @_@
Thank You, Lord for those people. Shiawase desu.

I'm Addicted to FAITH
I'm getting addicted to HYDE's latest album, Faith. So far, my favourite song is Jesus Christ. But I like the others a lot. It's just that Jesus Christ stands out, having a strong impact on me when I'm listening to it. The reason? The message of the song comes next to the music. It was the latter that actually brought something unknown to me. I just love it.
This reminds me of Evergreen. I wasn't moved by the original, ballad, version. But the rock version did; it even moved me to... tears. It was the music, again.
HYDE was right. Environment affects the way a music is made. I'm glad he decided to record Faith in US. Good job. ^_~ I like the fruits of his labour.

World Trade Center
We watched World Trade Center yesterday in G4-C6. This movie starred Nicolas Cage as a New York cop.
It was a story to reckon. Made me realized how much tribulation a single accident can be, especially if it's a major one- catastrophic. I've also come to consider (again) being in the paramedics. I've thought about it before, but just had the thought back last night. My consideration didn't end in paramedics. I've also or rather say I'm now back considering being a military nurse in the future.
If I end up in the paramedics or military someday, wonder not. I've thought about it before and I've just been with "influencial" things...

20 October 2006
I went to G4 yesterday for the second time this week. But I went to Market! Market! first. I saw Neko and Jay there. I also saw Bauti and his friend RJ.As usual, most of the people I saw in TZ were Shane, Rhenan, and Mikka(adik!). I also saw other IG members, both old and new. A lot had happened and it was nice.
The fun part began when Francis, along with Mikka and Rhenan, were doing kulitan. But Rhenan and Shane left earlier and left the three of us (FMS). I think I haven't met a person as kulit as Francis. He and Mikka were so kulit it was contagious! We did a lot of "trips".
Francis had to go to Mr. Quickie and have his shoes fixed. He brought Mikka and me along. On our way back, we saw Sbarro's (pizza) baker doing the dough. He was flipping (if that's the right term) the dough into the air. Mikka and Francis were amazed, or was it just Mikka. Either way, we went closer to watch Mr. Flipper. The two were even suggesting to clap our hands and do some waves. Jen, are you going to do that? I thought. But those two were just contagious. But I haven't lost a touch of myself. Haha!
The trip has just began. We went to McDonald's to buy ice cream. The counter lady was even "infected" with our kakulitan. She was amused with what we were doing. It was nice to see her enjoy as well.
I was thinking, throughout the trip to Mr. Quickie, if I should head home. But it's been a long time since I've been to G4 and 'bond' with aygee peops. I may have not met other members (those I knew before), but I have met new ones. Like what I've said in my IG blog, I'm not closing myself to people. I can' just do that. That would be so mean.
Back to the story....
We went back to TZ (I was about to write "IG") and saw MUTAKA. Mikka went into a "fangirl" and was saying, "Haido! Haido!" Haha! L'Arc and Hyde was part of our meeeennnnniii discussions before we got back to TZ.
It seemed that he was about to leave, but I'm glad he did not. We've added another aygee to the company. We first discussed about Komikon and the Ongaku event (I pray I could come!). We've also talked about other stuffs; I think it was about L'Arc because Francis and Mikka were doing those "poses" they did earlier. Some "dance" grooves... Speaking of poses, MUTAKA did something Hyde-like. It was really amusing. He also did those "stare" Hyde is known for while singing; Francis and him were on duet.
MUTAKA then decided to take a group pic. We looked for a place with enough light then posed. But I wonder if he (or we) succeeded. Haha! Then the discussion was led to dreams. We talked about our dreams and such.
We've also talked about "magic" stuffs. MUTAKA started it. He even made me the "audience" and I was obliged to comply. It reminded me of Sir Jake (I miss the man!). I was like "Okay, I'm going to watch you do the magic." complete with clapping hands. Haha!
I guess the three went tired standing (Mikka had been dancing a lot and Francis had a sprain, I guess. His foot hurt.) Francis suggested to go outside so we could sit. He was suggesting the Smoker's Lounge! Oh my Gackt. But I did go with them, and kept myself away from the smoke.
We talked about random things. It was fun because I had conversation with new friends and it was worth-to-be-talked-about. The reason I am usually "silent" is the lack of topic to be talked about. In school, the non-nursing discussions don't just interest me. Imagine having lots of girl classmates. Kikay, boys, showbiz... *rolls eyes* I'd rather sleep.
It was already nine so we had to leave. We parted ways when were in the MRT station. MUTAKA took the train while Mikka and Francis were up to bus. As for me, I took a jeep leading to Market! Market! Double ride mode on my way home. Then I walked.
What happened last night (while I was on my way home 'til I lost my consciousness to sleep) made me realize that there's still the "heart of children" in us. We were child-like. And I'm saying that in a nice way. Nothing naive.
~~~
I hope everyone was okay. And I hope I'd be able to attend the event today. *sobs* I have more reasons to come. I'd be happy enough if I could just attend the Komikon. They're going to feature Filipino komiks! I have to invest interest on my countrymen's works. Filipino First! ^_~ And of course, the three aygee peops I was with last night are going to be there..
I am sad.
~~~
On the other hand, I also wish to be able to come to Mega again. It's been a long time since I got there I could no longer remember.

Evergreen
Five years ago, my favourite song Evergreen was released. "So what?"? It was realeased just a day away to my Geburtstag! I love the 'connection' with this song. Heehee... I love this song. My favourite is the rock version. It even moved me to tears.
Evergreen was also the first HYDE song I had. It was a year ago along with my other MP3 collection. But they were all gone, courtesy of formatting. When I first heard this song, I was thinking of green fields, the meadow... with beautiful trees. It was a calming song; far different from what I used to hear him sing in L'Arc. I was even having second thoughts if it was Hyde from L'A~en~Ciel.
Hours ago while I was on my way home, I took my Evergreen (English) lyrics and read it. I could tell that my lacrimal glands were stimulated. If only I wasn't riding on a jeep, I'd let my tears fall. It was so moving. Yakenogahara is no longer alone.
I need you far too much , I long to feel your touch
This scenery is evergreen
You’ve always been so dear to me

L'A~Fan
L'Arc~en~Ciel
Years later, I saw their video Driver's High. It didn't sound so interesting to me, except being a GTO OST, so I made no further inquiry about the band. I had encounters about them but I was not a big fan. I was just an ordinary person admiring their talent. But I already acknowledged Hyde's vampireness.
I was more of a Malice Mizer fan, but I admit that Hyde was really beautiful. I even call him the "ultimate vampire" and I said that to Ricah (she loves Klaha). =p
Part of being a Hyde fan was checking on his other field... acting. I was surpised when I watched Moon Child. I'd say he was good. Now I'm waiting for Kagen no Tsuki. I want to watch it
It may took me years before I became a L'Arc~en~Ciel fan, but it's okay with me. I've actually learned something essential. Love doesn't happen for an instant. Mostly, it will take you years to realize it. But don't feel bad. You've learned as time passed.

2-day G4 trip
I wasn't able to get online for the past two weeks because we got "out" of dial tone. The wifi wasn't enough to open a blog. Well, thanks to Milenyo. -_-
We had 3 days of blackout. But during those days, we went to G4 to watch movies and play in TimeZone. Thanks to my godfather. ^_^
28 September 2006
We watched this movie after watching First Day High. I like this movie. It was intersting. My favourite was Christie Allen (Holly Valance). I like her character. I also like Ayane (Natasha Malthe), the assassin.
Synopsis:
In DOA: Dead or Alive four beautiful women begin as rivals in a secret invitational-only martial arts contest, but find themselves teaming up with one another against a sinister force. Tina Armstrong, played by Jamie Pressly is a superstar in the world of women's wrestling. Christie, played by best-selling pop recording artist and actor Holly Valance, is a beautiful cat-thief and assassin-for-hire. Princess Kasumi, played by international fashion model and actor Devon Aoki, is an Asian warrior-aristocrat, schooled by martial arts masters. Helena Douglas, played by Sarah Carter, is an extreme sports athlete whose tragic past binds her to the remote palace in Southeast Asia where the Dead or Alive tournament takes place.

This movie made me sleepy. But I like the part when they presented their showcase. It was very artistic, a ballet featurig hiphop music.
