Goong

Princess Hours

18 August 2006. I finished watching this K-Drama. I think it was around 3 o'clock in the morning. Finally! Yokatta! Teehee... It was a nice comedy-drama. I was so hooked to this that I had thoughts about it even when I was in school. I just couldn't get over this. =p Most of my LSSs were even Goong's OSTs. Btw, Goong literally means palace.

The cast (main):
  • Yoon Eun Hye (윤은혜) as Shin Chae-gyung
  • Joo Ji Hoon (주지훈) as Lee Shin
  • Kim Jeong Hoon (김정훈) as Lee Yul
  • Song Ji Hyo (송지효) as Min Hyo-rin

The synopsis:
Due to a promise between the former king of Korea and an ordinary, strong-willed girl's grandfather, our heroine finds herself betrothed to a seemingly cold-hearted, self-centered crown prince of Korea. How can she marry a guy who she overheard him proposing to another girl! Both unwilling parties agree to the marriage, each with his and her own different motivations for the agreement to marry. Can love bloom under the strain of love rivals and political ambitions?

My favourite characters:

Sukob

medium_Sukob.jpg
Directed by Chito S. Rono

Tita Glosy, Grace, Aimee and me watched Sukob last Wednesday, 02 August 2006 in G4-C6. I'm glad I was able to watch this for free. I've been curious about this movie since I saw its trailer in TV. The theatre house was filled with shouts albeit not all seats were filled.

I like to watch movies alone, but if I am to choose a company, I'd go for tita and/or tito because watching movies with them means I get free food and drink. What I had when we watched Sukob was Wendy's Chicken Burger with regular fries and soda. I got another fries (medium) because someone seemed to have her stomach full. I enjoyed watching the movie with foods in my hands. It reminded me of a scene... Heehee... It was really fun.

I think Sukob is one of the successful Filipino horror films. I like it because it has a story and the way it scared people has some sense on it. What I also like about it is it's "3-in-1" quality. "3-in-1" because it is:
(+) Horror/Suspense
(+) Comedy
(+) Drama

It was really paradoxical inside the theatre. After screaming, people laughed. I only laughed. There's no reason for me to scream. I was busy eating. *lol*

Davis's Drug Guide for Nurses

medium_DDG.jpg

It's been a year since I got this book. I am not trying to say that I've already mastered the drugs listed in this book. I don't have an excellent memory. But I like reading it. And it's still in good condition! ^_^ What I like about this book was the price. I bought it for about 40% less the original price. Kewl!!

This book has been so useful to me because it's one of the nursing books I love to read when I get bored. *lol* I like to read it because it looks new. =p But I don't carry it around. Books are never to be brought to school, unless it's a pocket dictionary or something handy. This book is 2" thick, about 5" or 6" in length, and about 4" wide. I have no intention to bring a two-inch thick book to school unless it's a Robert Ludlum novel. Heehee...

August 01

medium_Alone.gif

It's been a year already. It's been a year since I reckoned Intellectually Stimulating. Memories are coming back. If I could go back on that day, surely I would. I'd like to see Intellectually Stimulating again. People who are quite crazy but intelligent attract me. I think it's the positive energy they posses that draws me to them.

When I first saw Intellectually Stimulating, I used my eyes. The second time, I used my hypothalamus (with due respect). And when I saw Intellectually Stimulating the third time, I used my cerebrum and heart. The latter was like an unspoken "command" from Intellectually Stimulating. But I am happy to have something to have learned. I will always treasure the times I've spent with him.

I know I have lots to regret. My heart is broken because of it. I lost a person who could've been my friend. I am sorry. All I can do for now is pray and ask God's guidance and blessings upon him. And I will wait for the day when I have valid reason to face him again. I shall proudly say, "***, ** ** ** ***."

On that day, I shall thank him. I shall tell him how much he had inspired me and motivated me.

~~~
August 1. So much memories! So much to treasure. Oh God, please don't let me have dementia or Alzheimer's Disease. I want to reminisce this day a year ago. Everything started on this day and I want to thank You for it. Thank You so much for what happened on this day last year.
We may not cross each other's ways again, but I know a way how to contact him. But I'd like to do it in person. And I shall find a way. Surely, I will.
